13 WAYS TO LOOK TRENDY BUT MODEST IN YOUR SUNDAY CLOTHES

Its no hidden fact that as ladies we love to look our best anytime of the week and anywhere not excluding Sundays. We all know that there is a single reason for attending Sunday service yet no lady wants to end up looking drab or disheveled in church. Sunday service is a day of honour and celebration and so looking fab on this particular day ain't no mortal sin. Here are 13 tricks to achieving that trendy but modest look in church

GO BELOW THE KNEES
We don't want to be bounced to the back of the church thereby missing out on all the actions just because we are wearing a mini skirt or gown

1.   A below the knees pencil skirt paired with a peplum  blouse or any well fitted blouse will ensure you look modestly trendy

2.  Gowns have been In fashion from time immemorial and they come In different styles, just make sure to wear one that covers up your cute legs

AVOID TIGHT CLOTHES
We don't want all our goodies standing out and distracting fellow worshippers, do we? Well I guess not. For that pious yet trending look, choose a clothing that's a little free yet fitted to your body frame

3. Midi skirts are back in fashion and come in various amazing colours and prints and are safe to wear as they don't reveal anything

4. Maxi skirts which are trendy too can be spiced up with heels, fancy belts and a clutch

5. If your church allows for you to wear trousers, then a simple non revealing trouser suit will fit perfectly well with nice moderate heels and a clutch

COVER UP
Do not show cleavage, avoid transparent and low cut blouses. If your blouse is transparent , you can wear a tube or undershirt.

6. If you've got a low cut blouse you could reveal less by adding a scarf to it ...

 7. Or a jacket if the blouse is sleeveless

ACCESSORIZE
That you've got to look modest doesn't mean you can't experiment or spice up your clothes. Accessories like belts, jewelries, shoes and bags have a way of transforming your simple looks to that of elegance

8. Belts which come in different types and colour can be strapped on a skirt, a pair of trouser, gown or shirt and change your look from simple to fabulous

9. Bags and clutch purses have a way of adding glam to our attire and they are definitely convenient ways to fit our bibles in.

10. Whether high- or low- heeled, you can never go wrong with shoes. If you're looking over dressed, sandals can help to give that casual look but just ensure your feet is well manicured before strapping them on

 11. Scarves: if you attend a church like my home church where its compulsory to have your hair covered, you've got nothing to worry about as scarves are trendy these days with different ways to tie them on

12. Jewelries: jewelry pieces like earrings, necklaces and wristwatches are great for adding sophistication to your attire

13.  Make-up: remember to keep it light, flawless and classy to avoid the "club girl" look.

In all, don't forget that God is more interested on how beautiful you are inside so remember to always beautify your mind with pure thoughts so your outer beauty adornment don't go to waste
